60th Street – Capehart Road to Highway 370

Project Description

Improvements include grading, building culverts and paving three lanes of concrete to replace the existing gravel roadway along 60th Street from Capehart Road to Highway 370. The road will be closed in phases during construction; access will be maintained to adjacent properties through the duration. This project will improve traffic flow and capacity to accommodate future development.

June 13, 2024: Phase one of the 60th Street project starts June 17 and extends between Capehart Road and Maass Road. Work includes grading, culverts and paving. This phase is expected to last through the fall and will be closed to through traffic while under construction. Local traffic will maintain access to the area during the project. Please use caution.

Design: Summer 2022 – Spring 2023
ROW/Easement Acquisitions: Fall 2023
Construction: Summer 2024
Anticipated Completion: Fall 2025
